Then it points that some animals were indeed reunited with their masters & mistresses or found homes where they are also loved. Also the latest problem is packs of wild dogs & feral cats who were once domestic but lost and abandoned from Katrina.

This book of poems depicts my Hurricane Katrina pet rescue efforts and some of the remarkable souls I encountered on the Gulf; stories of both victims and rescuers; stories that I will remember for the rest of my natural days.
